Passive Fire Protection survey is mandatory check ensuring building compliance with UK safety laws. They identify breaches in compartment walls, floors, and fire doors, ensuring fire containment materials (fire-stopping, intumescent coatings) are installed, damage-free, and fit for purpose. All commercial properties have a duty to ensure their fire protection systems are checked by an approved and accredited fire protection company on a regular basis.

Passive fire protection survey is a key part of your statutory fire risk assessment set out in the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 for England. O-Zone Construction will supply you with a comprehensive site report detailing the effectiveness of the measures you have in place to resist the passage and spread of fire. It will cover everything from fire doors to cavity barriers in walls and firestopping in walls and floors and outline any improvements that should be made to the structure of your building to ensure it is completely compliant.
